About the MMTA Foundation
MMTAF offers Teacher, District and Local Association Grants, Travel Grants for Minnesota winners of MTNA division performance competitions, and Monetary Awards for students who have demonstrated superior achievement in MMTA educational exams. Additional achievement awards include the Young Artist Winner, Student Composition Winner and Student of the Year.
“The grant I received from the MMTA Foundation has been instrumental in helping me take lessons to prepare for my upcoming recitals. Studying and doing my art also helps me to be a better piano teacher. Thank you!”
– Kathryn Horntvedt, MMTA Teacher from Rochester, MN
