Are you confused by the various editions of our theory workbooks?  Here’s a short explanation:

  • When the current theory curriculum was released in 2015, all workbooks were labeled “2015 edition.” These are the 1st editions.
  • Starting in 2019, the theory development committee began releasing 2nd editions of the workbooks.
  • Originally these books had the year of publication on the front, e.g., “2019 edition.” Later this was changed to “2nd edition” to avoid confusion with so many different dates on different levels.
  • All workbooks now either say, “2nd edition”, or for Level 1 and Level 2, “1st edition.”
  • If you have a workbook that was printed before 2022 it has a year of publication.
  • All workbooks printed after 2022, say either “1st edition” or “2nd edition”.
